flowers in the darkness

we see joy in morning
light in our sorrows
flowers in the darkness
shining to God
we become vessel of hope
tear cups to bowls
brimming with God’s love
wanting to share this blessing
to be poured out
we see light in shadows
joy around the corner
life in the dying
we are reborn.
