Something about this world
my heart closed
walled off from my faith
not wanting to believe
to change from my path
Lost in the fog of this
world
on a path of my own creation
never really opening your Book
never reading your words of
love
Your calling for my life
And You opened the door for
me
a new path before me
to a world of grace, of hope
fulfilled, joy revealed,
Your words coming alive
Leaving my past behind
turning to You to guide me
on the path You had planned
all along
finding new life in Your
words
knowing they are true
Hearing the echoes of those
days
when I first came from the
fog
when I broke into Your
sunlight
entering into Your grace, oh
Lord
heeding Your heavenly call
