so many distractions
demands on our days
computers, games,
TV, the 24 hour news cycle
seven days a week
Don’t waste time
on distractions;
The battle engaged
the race begun
our turn to run
so many choices
so many distractions
hours to fill;
Stay in training
a race we must win
