a stranger to me
but someone I should know
already beside me, waiting,
like a comfortable coat
I have forgotten to wear
out in the wind, the cold
knowing it is there, waiting
befriending Silence
a presence with me
finding God there
in the stillness, the
longing
peace from the day
from my impossible struggles
giving them more fully to
God
trusting in Him.
