a stranger to me
but someone I should know
like a comfortable coat
I have forgotten to wear
out in the wind, the cold
knowing it is there, waiting
befriending silence
finding God there
in the stillness, the
longing
peace from the day
from my impossible struggles
giving them more fully to
God.
