we see the love of Martha
serving the mourners
while she herself grieved
the death of her brother
we hear with her
that Jesus is coming
but her response is
unexpected
setting down the platter
leaving them with Mary
running out to meet Him
the Messiah, her Lord
only telling Jesus
not seeking a specific
answer
sending Mary to Him
at the Master’s call.
