within the stone

the flesh of their bodies

a secret, a future

a story yet untold

their stories unfolding

written on parchment

on IPads, technology

in charcoal sketches

each one unique

welling us within

context, and purpose

the pages opening

as petals on a bloom

different shades,

different colors

all coming into view

in God’s time only

revealed, expressing

their purpose, promise,

their futures yet to be
