the words to Elijah
from God in heaven
God descending
within that voice
to balance our fear
the struggles within us
God yet speaking
within that voice
the still small voice
God still speaking
still calling us
to serve, to believe
like Elijah called
to share God’s message
boldly, surely
out into the world
