cut,
sweating
building
calluses
walking
this earth
fully human
light took
on flesh
the Word
became mortal
raised from
the clay
from his
mother’s womb
tired,
hurting
walking here
with us
understanding
life fully
going to
the cross
beaten,
dying
suffering
on the journey
facing the
worst in life
but
choosing mercy
