God is strong – v2

God is strong

the rock we stand on

on the promise of Christ

on the grace He poured out

in His choice to sacrifice,

to descend to the earth.

In God we are safe

in this life, this journey,

not from adversity,

trials in this life; but

we are safe in the journey

beyond the end of time.
