Humble Clay – v5

Our hope, our future,
in the Potter’s hand;
our lives, our path
already planned, ordained,
already written, scripted

Humble clay, sitting,
waiting to be molded
finding will, purpose outside
in the flesh, in the world

Cracked and chipped
returning to the Potter
made malleable once more
reshaped for greater work

A child of the Potter
becoming an open vessel;
Spreading His love
out into the world
