I dance the prayers of the people – v4

I dance the prayers of the people
within the circle,
within the cleansing blood,
of our Lord, Jesus.

We stand together
all part of the body
gathered within to the circle
coming before You, oh God.

I dance the prayers of the people
our petitions to You;
we begin with praises, with joy,
for what You have already done.

We lift to heaven, our prayers,
within the circle, together,
our joys, our concerns,
the days of our lives.

I dance the prayers of the people
our trust in You, oh God,
for You alone are faithful
Your promises are true.

Within the circle, the body
within the extended family;
we come together,
we share our lives.
