in the moment of Gethsemane

beyond the lash

the horrible scourging

Jesus the lamb

the Son of the Father

became the sacrifice

God like Abraham

climbing the mountain

Jesus, Isaac climbing the altar,

dying as a sacrifice

to set us free.
