God was there
with Jesus in the garden
Beside Him before the Sanhedrin
with the guards in His prison
and with Christ at the cross.
God watched Christ’s suffering
at the foot of the cross
the judgment laid upon Him
God saw our sins placed upon
the unblemished Lamb of God.
