we speak of our ashes
of
our dust returning
of
our ashes becoming earth;
but
what of our water
our
life-force, our essence
we
must remember
our
life in the skies
our
hope in Christ Jesus
that
our death is not our end
that
we are freed from our bonds
the
chains of our bodies, freed to fly
to
soar, to rise, like eagles, light creatures
water
beings, unchained, free
to
dance in the courts of heaven
with
God for all eternity
