By a Star Revealed
By a star was the Lord revealed
his birthplace marked, light shone on the babe
from a star, leading the wise men, the Magi
on their journey from the East
to the city of Jesse, the home of David,
the place ordained by the prophets,
revealing the will of God,
unfolding still, through the babe
for whom the star shone
so long ago, a king born to us
a savior born for us all
