To Outsiders Revealed
Agents of his glory,
God has used others, outsiders
in the telling of the story of the people
the chosen people, who sometimes
were disobedient, who didn’t obey.
So to in the story of the birth,
it was the shepherds on the third shift,
the astrologers from a land far away
It wasn’t to the king, to the priests,
the sons of Levi. The creator
revealed the birth of the son
to outsiders, foreigners
