There is rejoicing in our hearts this day
for the loving response of our Creator
our Sustainer through life's trials
For the healing, the recovery,
the pathway out of the deep woods
for prayer and fellowship, support and comfort
for the answer to our prayers
across the miles, for His grace
to land on us like a dove
to hold us close and carry us
in the hardest moments of our lives
for the continuing presence and care
He alone offers us each day
and for the wondrous miracles
only He can achieve
We give you thanks, Oh Lord;
This day and always
