Living Word
The words of God,
his thoughts conjured into being
from the dust, the clay, his breath
the law, the prophets; God’s instructions for man
born in the flesh, the living flesh of Christ
love and covenant born into the world
incarnate God, gift and sacrifice
walking among the people,
walking with the grains of sand,
living with the stars of the sky,
the expanding children of Abraham
The word, the promises of God
living with us, our brother
