So many, through the pages of history
living as a saint, following our savior’s example
walking, faithful, on the path they were given
the call to all our lives, persevering,
following our savior’s way,
carrying our cross, our God’s will
the race that lies before us,
ever onward, faithful on our path
in this our time, our piece of the kingdom
living as a saint, as those who have gone before
