A crowd of saints, witnesses,
to Christ, to the need for Christ in this world
Sharing his message, his love, his hope
faithfully, from generation on down to generation
living as Christ, being Christ for someone
Leaving a memory, a mark, imprinted on lives
A crowd of witnesses, testifying
to the journey, to the reward
the kingdom here on earth,
the hope for that new Jerusalem
Taking on our yoke, our cross
determined to be Christ,
and fulfill his command
