Tended with Love

As if a garden, our lives
the joy, love, relationship
connection with God, our families,
our friends, neighbors, even strangers
tended with love, a daily practice
of our walk, daily, seeking God’s will
his model, of living as a servant,
as Christ, his example, our brother
offering such love, in coming to the earth
fulfillment of prophecy, and more
the disciplines of his life, or prayer
meditation, time in corporate worship
all of these, ways to model
to live our lives as Christ
nurturing, watering, weeding
tending the garden of our lives
a harvest for the Lord
