With joy, a song in his heart
the potter shaping the clay
inert stuff of the earth
molded in his hands
a worthy vessel
beautiful to behold
strong to withstand the fires
the trials, what life has to hold
loving the world of creation
his skill beyond our imagination
each one a treasure
a wonder to behold
