The Truth of Christ

Not the expectation only,
the experience of the fulfillment
the birth, the life,
the truth of Christ
come into the world
alive, proving covenant
steadfast love of God
prophecy fulfilled,
the names of Christ claimed
in the babe in the manger,
the lamb upon the cross
and the king on his throne
Worthy is the name of Christ
our king, may he reign!
