As Teachers Commissioned

Not just witnesses
to what we believe
teachers of the word
our task to spread the news
the love of God for man

At teachers we are commissioned
sent to the ends of the earth
to bring the children up
in the ways of God

Not our own children alone,
all who cross our path
lifting up the next generation
to have the faith of old
to know God face to face
