All of us smiling
just as she was today
thinking of mothers
and grandmothers
those who have blessed us
along the way
Such a nice turn of phrase
to describe them
walking in the faith
a life of love
to those they meet
so much in that to teach
In turn, our time as parents
as elders on their path
sharing with the young
our faith, what we believe
lovingly sharing the word
