The word come down
descended to flesh
from his lofty throne
laid in a manger bed
Brought low, to the earth
God walking as man
humbling himself
becoming the lamb
Giving all he was
going to the cross
paying all for us
such an awesome cost
Responding we do
not because we must
offering ourselves
at the foot of your cross
