Stepping into Eternity

Jesus walking
there with the disciples
in the days after he rose
risen from the dead

Telling them more,
opening their minds
revealing mysteries
about God’s love

Preparing them
for the work, their ministry
witnesses of all this
to the ends of the earth

Rising from their presence
stepping into eternity
a risen man, the son
rising to the right hand of God
