A Witness to the Ascension

Sharing our faith
the joy of his fulfillment
a witness to the ascension
singing praises to God

His rising, defeating death
made whole when he ascended
from the toils of this earth
sitting at the right hand of God

Singing praises,
joyously going
his message of life
in the love of God

Sharing until we join him
when he returns in victory
raised with him to glory
at the end of the present age
