The Author of Creation

From nothing
a single moment of time
God creating all
out of his endless love

The author of creation
onto a blank slate
conjuring all that is
from a moment of light
piercing the darkness
until the end of time

God the planner
the artist making
designing all perfectly
the author of creation
in him all that is.
