In These Last Days

The law given from Zion
from Christ our Lord
all of us commissioned to serve him
to spread his message of love

Each of us given gifts
while we walk the earth
to go and make disciples
sowing seeds of his love

If we were more faithful
the age would come to an end
the swords turned into plowshares
war would be no more

Peace would reign
God’s kingdom would truly come
we would all love our neighbor
as Christ himself commands

The new Jerusalem would rise
the mountain would be lifted up
God’s grace raining down on us
ever filling our lives, our cup

“This is a very powerful message and one that needs repeating. We as Christian deny Christ when we do not live out the Great Commission by creating barriers, stumbling blocks to Christ. We must be sowing joy, not judgment, love not division, hope not condemnation, agape love not the values of the world. Only in this are we fulfilling our call, using our gifts for God's glory.”
