at the foot of the cross
God’s reconciliation
bringing us to him
there at the foot of the cross
in the sacrifice of Christ
we are saved of our past
like David we may rise
redeemed by the blood of the lamb
humbly, before our eyes
able to rise, to come before God
forgiven of our sins
able to go out into the world
to share his message of love
