Ours to accept or to reject
the gift of God’s grace
we may answer when he knocks
or ignore his calling
Sad how the world
tells us to be on our own
lost in our own worlds
rather than in the one he created
Wanting to walk with us
again in his garden
to linger with us at twilight
at the coming of night
Calling to us ever
God never far from us
wishing we would accept
the grace he gave for us
