In reds and yellows
in greens and orange
God sharing autumn with us
in the colors of the leaves
So much of grace
of his love raining down
in the witness of the maples
and the other trees
All of creation singing
in the preparing for slumber
yet a promise in the dying
of the spring and the summer
Joy in this season
God’s love raining down
in the reds and the yellows singing
to the heavens, glory to our God
