The veil of darkness lifted
the temple rebuilt
in the dawning of that morning
all of his words fulfilled
Only to ascend
after reassuring all of us
that he would be returning
in glory at the end
To bring us home, to the father
to the places he is preparing
each of us to live forever
bodies eternal,
in heaven with our king
