At the end of the age
oh at the end of time
when the scales are balanced
when all is put to right
God judging, in the end simple.
The world, corrupted
as man has made it,
the garden spoiled
in sin we were rejected
God is perfect, God is love,
and God has conquered
sin and death forever
on the hill of Calvary.
Because Christ is risen,
we all can rise with Him.
Something already done, completed,
Good has triumphed over evil
forever and for all times.
God's grace alone,
not by our works
his redeeming love,
has saved us,
from the grave
So long as we can come to God
humbly, without guile
on our knees, humbly,
as a little child,
Letting go of all the layers
the layers of things
all of the stuff
the world puts onto us.
all that is in the way
keeping us from God.
