God inside us
the Spirit indwelling
Christ came down
living in our hearts
Speak as we are able
sharing the love inside
offering grace to our neighbors
God’s love poured out
Like candles sharing
the light not diminished
all of us worthy
by the sacrifice on the cross

Psalm 40:8-9 (God’s Word Translation)
(posted on Ruth’s office door)
“I am happy to do your will, O my God.”
Your teachings are deep within me.
I will announce the good news of righteousness
among those assembled for worship.
I will not close my lips. You know that, O LORD.”
