We must not be sleeping
busy in our waiting
for the coming Messiah
in life, in victory
We should be busy in our waiting
as the farmer in the field
waiting for the growing crops
the harvest to reveal
We should be preparing our hearts
tending the Lord’s garden
sowing seeds of hope
in spreading his good news
Seeking love in the world
peace between all men
living humbly, as our Lord
loving our fellow man
