The babe in the manger
the man on the cross
the King on His throne
watching over us
The Word Made Flesh
the Messiah, the Savior
all of these Christ
who died for our sins
God gave himself
coming as the Christ-child
redeeming us all
by the blood of the lamb
The willing servant
loving all of us
giving himself
that we may live with him
This is the Savior we wait for
hopeful, expectant
the steadfast love
of Almighty God
Living within us
Spirit indwelling
needing to be shared
to the ends of the earth
The treasure we carry
in the humble clay jars
our lives a blessing
needing to be shared
We are the servants
the followers of Jesus
we are to offer
hope for the world
