Preparing for His Coming

God is preparing us
for His coming
the season, the Advent
the break of a new day

We are His people
but the diaspora in the world
needing His guiding
to stay true to the Word

He is speaking to us
during these days of waiting
bringing us closer
if we listen for His call

Bringing us to Him
that we may see the Christ-child
anew, alive, God risen
coming into the world
