Oh God, our Father
in this season, we remember
how Your love came down
how You came to the earth
You sent Jesus
Your Son descending
coming to the earth
humbly, as a child
Living with us
God incarnate
choosing to die
in humiliation on the cross
Redeeming us to You
in the sacrifice of Jesus
healing us to You
when he rose from the dead
