Trust the word of scripture
the hope for this people
the savior of the world
will return in victory
The Lord will be here soon
to cull the nations
to gather His people in
to bring us home to God
We must be hopeful,
joyful in our waiting
sharing the good news of Christ
to all we meet in this life
Ours is the duty
as slaves of the master
choosing to follow Christ
out into the world
We are to be the hands and feet
the living presence of God
the image of the loving savior
to our fellow man
Our vessels to be poured out
sharing the love of Jesus
the living Spirit guiding our feet
on the journey of our faith
Rest easy you people
the Lord will be here soon
redeeming us to himself
bringing us safety home
