Just Like Everyone Else

Nothing special about us
plain as can be
made from the stuff of earth
struggling in life

Just like everyone else
until we met the Christ
falling before Him humble
choosing life instead

All of our lives before this
walking toward destruction
foolish in our own selves
that we had a clue

Only in the arms
of our loving Savior
only because of His grace
may we see our Maker
