The Echo of the Prophets

The words of Isaiah
the each of the prophets
fulfilling the law of Moses
in the coming of our Savior

Showing us what it is
to truly love our neighbors
bearing witness to God’s love
his healing of the nations

Salt of the earth
common as the fishermen
yet we are called to be his messengers
the hands and feet of Christ

Bearing our witness ever
how God saved our lives
loving our neighbors
to the ends of the earth

No one is special
all of us with feet of clay
yet God in his mercy
takes our sins away

Freeing us from our bondage
the chains of our sin
redeeming us completely
that we may truly live
