With What I Need

Standing in the battle
before the giant
cursing me, my Lord
denying the God of heaven
Standing with my gifts
with what I need
to defeat the enemy
Standing in the breach
in the wilderness
bearing his light
as a child
of Christ’s victory
sure of our salvation
by his amazing grace
able to face the giant
in this life on earth
