In Ministry

Everyone who chooses
to be salt of the earth
the light of the world
giving new birth

All who offer cold water
in God’s loving name
all who aid a neighbor
who is struggling, in pain

All who wash feet
who forgive their brother
feeding the poor
lifting up another

Everyone who chooses
to fulfill the scripture
in ministry, in communion
with our Lord and Savior

Offering light
in the name of Christ
his grace, our example
pushing back the night
