Like a Spring of Water

Rich living water,
like a spring of water
never failing, ending
rising to refresh us

So is the blessing
washing over us
if we follow the Christ
and be light to the world

Yoked with our Savior
our brother, our shepherd
guiding our feet
these legs made of clay

Needing to stay
the salt that we came from
yet alive with the Spirit
the very breath of God

Serving our neighbors
offering light in the darkness
bearing our witness
to the ends of the earth

How God has transformed us
changed us from the dust
turned our lives around
with his outpouring of love
