God’s Favor

If we are true to the scriptures
to truly love our neighbor
fasting from our excesses
focused on them

Serving with kindness
compassion for their place
with love of the our Savior
caring for our neighbor,

Our sister, our brother
God’s favor shining
as we walk with them
humbly, as a servant
bearing the cross
seeking mercy and kindness
all the days of our days
to lift our neighbor up
