Why do we struggle
why do we doubt
holding onto our lives
not giving them up
Holding our futures
in our hands of clay
not willing to place them
in God’s hands today
Why do we hold on
believing we are in control
when the creator of the universe
tells us he loves us so
wanting to be with us
everywhere we go
