Bound up in the moment
the washing of the feet
something so powerful
their master at their feet
We know for certain
the more that they did not know
the rest of the week unfolding
how he loves us so
Prepare for service
in tending to the flock
washing the feet of our brothers
sent out into the world
Hope for the world
in the message of our Kind
seeking the joy within us
causing us to sing
Work there is to do
but first we must prepare
fed by his body
and filled with his blood
Sent forth in service
wrapped up in God’s love
